On the road to Roseburg
After cruising up through the heat of central California on Thursday, June 22 Rav and I spent the night in Orland. Starting Friday morning bright and early - well, reletively early - we stopped for breakfast at a cute roadside restaurant and had french toast. Following breakfast we pointed the car north and hit the road again!
Along the way we stopped to enjoy the view of Shasta Lake, and through dogged traffic (!) got some decent pictures of Mt. Shasta. We stopped for lunch about 50 miles north of the Oregon border; relaxing, eating a pic-nic, and playing Phase 10.
We arrived in Roseburg around 3:30pm and checked into our motel for the evening. Leg 1 of the roadtrip complete. Now it's time to enjoy the evening in Roseburg, and Heather's wedding tomorrow!
